Tuck into a pre-theatre lunch or dinner in our magnificent Restaurant. Have an experience to remember, with a fully waiter serviced 2-course meal as part of your package*. Each show has a unique menu, including a delicious selection of main courses and desserts.

Discretionary Gratuity

As we now deliver a full restaurant service our need to attract and retain quality hospitality staff is greater than ever, and because your meal at The Mill is paid for at booking the price of your food does not appear on your bill as it would in any other restaurant.

Consequently a percentage gratuity would only apply to the value of any drinks you order on the day of your visit and would not fully reward the whole hospitality team who also now prepare and serve your meals. To remain competitive within the hospitality industry, we urge guests to take into account the value of their food and not just their drinks when deciding if they wish to reward their dining experience. We therefore ask you to consider our flat fee gratuity of £3.50 per person which is based around the retail value of £35pp for your meal and will be added to your drinks bill.

We believe this system, as unique as our venue, will ensure you see the same faces each time you visit The Mill.

That said, if the quality of our food or service has failed to meet your expectations, please inform your server who will remove it without question.

Private Hire

Our Restaurant and Waterwheel Bar are available to hire for wakes, parties, filming, photoshoots, and other special occasions. We provide catering and staff to ensure a seamless and memorable event. Clubs and societies can take over The Mill for a charity event, with dinner, entertainment, and staff all provided.
